Got drawn for a Kentucky Bull Elk tag (archery)

Post by bentonmike »

I can't believe it, checked the other morning and seen that I had been drawn! I'm the only person in my county!
I'll be taking my Equinox to hunt, crossbows are not allowed the first two weeks, but I have a medical excemption, so I'm good to go.
Looks like I better get practicing!!!

Congrats Bentonmike! I don't put in for the elk draw any more because of the way that the thing is run.

Hope you're able to get one with the Equinox!

Thanks everyone, you can be sure that if I shoot one, there will be plenty of pics! MuskyMan454, I haven't put in for a zone yet. I've just now started talking to guide services. Since I'm as far west as you can be in our great state, I have no idea where I'm going. Any Pointers????

Went ahead and booked my Elk hunt today with Lost Mountain outfitters, I've heard a lot of good things about them. I talked with Hurley for 1/2 hour today, and now i'm really pumped...come on September!!!
