Scope speed ring

Has anyone have any tips for the speed ring on the scope from moving . Tried to tighten the screw on the ring hope it would lock it but no luck. Any thoughts?

I don't what that screw does but it certainly doesn't lock the ring!!

Once i get the speed ring dialed in to the bow i take my pocket knife and make a small but noticeable mark on the scope even with & just above the white dot. If the ring gets moved i have a reference point.
If i change anything i just take a black sharpie & fill in the scratch...good as new.

Thanks was thinking of something like that. Going to try a dab of liquid paper. Hope it with stay on and come off with scraping it with finger nail.

Any kind of tape will do. Just put a small piece maybe 1" on the
bottom side of speed ring. That is what I have done, no problems
has not moved.

Call me lucky, but have never had a speed ring move on me.
