I was stationed there in 1968. Co. is a pretty state, enjoy the views. We have been back to Co. many times. Lots of stuff to see in Colorado Springs!

Sabrina, Interstate 25 pretty much divides Colorado, east of it is flat and lots of farming and whitetails, west of it is mountains and muleys and elk. I dont know any of the regs for residents, being from Texas, but hunting opportunities abound in Colorado( non-residents can buy a bull tag across the counter). Have a ball chasin' critters. P.S. since you are in Colorado Springs basically, if you get a chance to attend the graduation ceremony at the Air Force Academy its sure worth it( even tho its a diff. branch of the service) It is pretty awsome.
