Got home from Toronto and snuck of to the harbour. Got one shot in and came home with this 27 lb 11 oz Golden Log.

First picture is fish beside me.

I am like a junkie and need one a day atleast. Got home from Toronto and told wife I was going to beer store. Had a ten minute delay. LOL Good thing she knows me well. She took the pictures. LOL

nice fish! our rivers been so dirty from storms to shoot any fish. waiting for it to clear up!

Thanks all. Not happy with myself today. After over 50 carp on my arrow, I seen it dancing and going in circles away from me out into the deep water. Big fish, I fought him for a while and the line broke. Hopefully he is dead on the bottom. Don't want a fish with an arrow sticking out of him swimming around the harbour. My tree hugger friends would not like that. LOL

To answer a question a few months ago if you ever loose arrows, answer is yes, and I even go swimming for mine when need be. LOL

Certainly don't fight as much as a fishing pole. 200lb test and some guys keep the drag tight but I leave a little slack. They tireout fairly quick.

Kids Bass Derby is on this weekend. Will have all my bows and my picture board on display. Should have some nice pictures this weekend. Kids are ussually amazed when they see me shooting fish. Some adults are less amazed sometimes. Had to call MNR friday night on a tree hugger that decided he was going to harrass me.

nice fish been doing some of that my self.no tree huggers where i go.lucky i guess first thing that came to mind when you talked about them is a fiberglass fish arrow will make a pretty good switch! :lol:
