Don, you have a great way with words. I think of your situation quite often, and thanks everyone for your kindness.

It is a shitty day. We are thankful that throughout her brave fight with cancer that she was for the most part, pain free. She passed with all of us with her there. It is a tough day for dad. It's their 45 anniversary today.

I know you probably have been preparing for this day, but it still always surprises you. She will definitely be sleeping well now. And she can watch over you and your Family in peace, without pain, and enjoy what she see's.

Neil I am very sorry to hear that your mom passed.

Cancer is a dreadful illness. It effects everyone, not just the person ill. I know what you and your family are going through, yes it does suck ..... but always remember the good times, all the smiles mom's give, and most of all remember that your mom has gone on her final journey with no more illness or suffering.

I found that sticking with and helping the rest of the family though this tough time helped me when my mom passed.

I've been thinking about you and your mom all day Neil and I want you to know that your mom did a really good job of raising you! You are a fine youngish man and I am always grateful to have met you. You are someone that I can send my cherished Aunt Margret to and I don't have a second thought about it. Very few people have the honesty, integrity and compassion to take care of stranger like you do. That says volumes man!
