No problem, but that buck and another basically looked like twin racks had spent the spring and summer at my farm and I had many trail cam pics. I wondered where he went. I'm glad YOU got him.

Great Job VIXCHIX! It is truly a blessing to get more women introduced to the outdoors and especially to Excalibur Crossbows.

Bowster, I'm glad to here the Elmira event went well! I know a lot of people put a lot of work into it. Good for you for volunteering your time. :D
I really enjoyed helping out VixChix on Saturday. It was wonderful to see just how eager these women were to learn and how determined they were even when faced with challenges like cocking. Apparently the crossbow clinics are very popular at this event and they fill up quickly. There were a couple of women who dropped off the list last minute (they were there as a group and they wanted to stay together but there weren't enough spaces for all of them). As soon as their names were scratched off the list at lunch others quickly grabbed their spots. We even had a number of women stop by after each clinic who wanted to know if they could get in a quick shot or two. Their enthusiasm was inspiring. :D
I'm so glad to see that Excal is such a big supporter of events like this. I know they've been doing this event for a few years now. They sent a whole van load of gear down to make this happen including bows, targets, arrows, etc.. The Axiom SMF was the most popular item on the raffle table. I hope it was one of "our girls" who won it!
We'll post a link as soon as they have the pics from their photographer up on their website. I know they got some better ones than I did.

Yes Tim she asked if I knew anything about the " her shooting your buck " . :)
I told her about how you had pictures from the season then he disappeared from your bush and ended in mine . Got to admit she looks better than us behind that deer . :D
Sorry for the highjack
As for the pink nail polish at Boofest . Better bring lots of booze . :)

Look at all those women!!!!! What a turnout!!!

What a great way to encourage girls to get outdoors and enjoy what we do. That's absolutely fantastic!!!

Funny thing is, I was just talking to the local CO here in PEI who was transporting a trailer load of canoes from a Women's Outdoor Weekend. Apparently they camped out and had a blast. It's contageous!!!

Way to go Vix, TPM, Excalibur and all involved!!

I'll add my voice, everyone had such a blast! I was a surprised to see who the Excal people were this year and they did a fantastic job! Yay for Monica & Tim!
Monica if you saw me pointing at you during lunch, I was just showing you to my sister whom I took with me to this event. She was in your second class. Psst, can I get a copy of those pics?
