Post by Gamikatsu »

my vortex has eaten my block fusion black crossbow.... 3 bolts clean through it tonight... sad part is it has less than 300 arrows into it total. 6 months old. emailed block on it and we shall see what happens.

You can put a rachet strap around the middle and tighten the heck out it for extra life. How much extra?????

even the layered ones cant hold them well.. I have to shoot different spots with dots.. but every shot on my block crossbow basically passes out the other side. After about 30-50 shots in the same spot its done

Try a Morrel bag for fp's and an 18-1 for bheads, life gets simple. I say Morrel as they are made here in Ar and I get a deal on them..............

W/ all the $ we tie up in our xbows, arrows, and bheads, it makes no sense to try and go the cheap route.........

I have the Rinehart block target. It will stop anything my equinox can launch down range. My only advise would be that you need a good arrow puller to remove them from the target. If you don't have a good one,try the one Danny Miller sells. It's the best I've used.

The Danny Miller pullers are THE BEST. Also, putting some arrow lube, like Scorpion Venon on the first inch of your arrow makes pulling much easier.

If you shoot the same spot and even hitting a one inch circle around it, it's going to make it through don't matter who makes it, Use every inch of the target, all four sides and switch sides after each use, this works for me.

Edit: 18-1 works great for me and my Equinox.
