Slick trick X=bow Trick
Any body use the x-bow trick? They now have a 150gr. version of it. I'm thinking about using them on Fire bolts with 2" Blazers with my Ibex. What would be best, 175gr or 150gr?
Re: Slick trick X=bow Trick
Fire Bolts seem to shoot well with 150gr up front. Try the 150gr X-Bow Trick.

My Firebolts shoot best with a 125 gr tip
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.

Re: Slick trick X=bow Trick
The most accurate arrows I have tried use 175gr heads with helical blazers. Very consistant. That prompted me to choose between the 170 Foc or 175 slicktrick. Due to availability here I went with the FOC which has worked very well for me. Just pricey though!
I don't remember if firebolts have brass inserts, If they do you wouldn't want the extra weight of the 175 slick.

I recently picked up a pack of the 175's and they shot well for me on targets. I'm going to use them on my bear hunt this year but haven't hunted with them yet.

I was shooting G5 Montecs in 140 grain on Easton Powerflight 340 , these fell in line with the old Wasp camlocks which are 130 . Now I know I'll have to go out and try these Slick Tricks .....
