lost arrow

Post by maine hunter »

:D :D it was a great sunny day and i had the day off. i went out to shoot for awhile and after a few shots at 35 yards i lost an arrow the fun way. yup, a robinhood. first one ever. it sucks to loose one, but it was kinda cool to see the arrow. the end was all pushed up at the end, the nock was pushed in about 2''. the other one was fine.

I would throw out second arrow as well. I think you will find out second arrow is junk now also.

First Robinhood is fun, from then on it is expensive.

wheelie is probably correct on the second arrow (junk)

I used to shoot for groups, but came close to a Robinhood, now I don't shoot groups. Took a little piece out of the nock, but splintered the end of the bolt. I removed the nock, just to see how hard it was to get out (firebolt). Now looking at it, I could probably cut about an inch off and still use it. But I don't think I want to take any chances, my luck, it would splinter on the first shot and be sticking out of my arm.

Nice! Robin Hoods are fun once in awhile. Wouldn't want to do it often but it does put a smile on your face when it happens occaisionally. :)
