I'm ready for cool nights and frosty mornings . I want to get in the WOODS. Anybody else got this problem????

That's all I think about!!! In 43 days 10 hours 42 minutes I'll be standing at about 9000 feet , Should be about 35 degrees and a slight breeze. Man-o- man I can't wait!! NOW it's only 43 days 10 hours and 41 minutes.

between fishing ,watching trail cams,and in August putting the tree stand up,and target practice .No time to be bored here 1 Sept will be here soon enough.

Wifee and Colton were out of town this week so I went to the lease after work Mon. and hog hunted Mon. eve and Tues morn early then went to work from the lease.Popped one hog and saw a quite a few deer including a couple that are pretty nice.I kinda got my "fix" for a bit, but Colton and I are going back Fri. eve. and Sat morn to hog hunt and swap SD cards. I just cant make it "cold turkey" from one year to the next!

YUP......But me thinks this fall will be as warm if not warmer then last fall around these parts, getting ready to order camo underware to hunt in....Sorry no pic's.....trust me ya don't want to see them anyway.

I'm thinking the same as you Wayne, its been such a hot summer so far I am worried that when Sept. 22 arrives I will need air conditioning in my ground blind. Its just feels all wrong to me when you hunt and there is bugs flyin around instead of snow flakes. This will be my first time deer hunting in September, will be different for sure, but am still crossing my fingers for a cold front.

That flightattendant and his boy sure know how to make a guy feel sick with envie ! Oh well. I'll be after those hogs as soon as it gets cool enough to cut the dawgs loose!

I have to wait until Oct. 6th for deer season to open.

No hogs around here and only a few bears, and that season runs during archery, I think.

The 9 months inbetween seasons is the longest time of my life.

Could be the reason i have soo many kids running around here......

Seems like thats all I can think about. In the woods, waiting with great expectations, and then suddenly - a deer, Buck or Doe, whatever, I love it all.
