You must be very proud. I'd have one of those "My son is a Marine" stickers on my truck. No I'd probably paint it across the tailgate. :)

Your correct on growing to fast. My two sons were marines or should I say they are marines. Once a Marine always a Marine. I have a good friend who is 86 years old and still is a Marine.

He can not hunt now because of his age, but he still walks the woods with his Marine belt and emblems.

I was looking for the right words to say and you pretty much nailed it.

Good luck to your boy and I hope you and the missus have fun with the neked thing! :D

Your son is soon to be the newest member of my family. Once he graduates and claims his eagle, globe, and anchor thus dawning the title US Marine, he will be my brother. For as long as I live, we will be bound. When age or accident claims me, the brotherhood will yet live for he has thousands upon thousands of new brothers worldwide who will bear the standard that they, too, will someday pass on to the new Marines...like your son.
