Broadheads For Africa

Post by awshucks »

Just got off the phone w/ Danny Miller, who went to Africa w/ Bill T and two other guys whose names I've already forgotten, lol.

The four of them took a lot of game while they were there, including a big Impala for Danny.

I asked what b-head they used, figuring on hearing about Swackers, as I suspected Danny had shot something w/ one, but was only 1/2 right. He had some w/ him but not on the day he got the Impala.

His answer to my question was all four of them hunted w/ Boltcutters.

Ive been using Rage two blades for the last two years with great success.
But im gonna try some Boltcutters this year just to see how they do.
Im a firm believer that if they are sharp and fly true any Broadhead with a well placed shot is effective.

I agree on sharp and fly true ! the bolt cutters I,ve shot are second to none when it comes to accuracy but I never got a lot of blood from the deer I,ve shot with them or most of the other small heads .

That's what I would expect if I paid the freight.
