Personal Archery Perfection

Post by Gamikatsu »

Today, after a long grueling target session, i have achieved what i believe, to be Personal Archery Perfection... using the following equipment it is just plain Scary...

Bow: Excalibur Vortex with Dissipater pads, and S5
String: Boo endless loop Angel Majesty (test string)
Arrow: Excalibur Firebolt (untouched, as purchased)
Broadhead: G5 Montec, sharpened myself to no more arm hair sharp (yes tested this)

quiver in stock location, Vari Zone scope... at 40 yards, i just shot a 1.5 inch group with broadheads, 4 arrows... i was affraid to shoot the 5th...

any of you have your stories of archery perfection?

I,ve had more robinhooded arrows with this vortex in the short time I,ve had it that I never shoot two arrows at the same target anymore . I use to think it was kool but not kool anymore just stupid and expensive . but I still have a stupid attack sometimes and sometimes pay for it!!!!!!

At 30 yards or less, I never aim at the same spot twice. I certainly don't do it with broadheads. That is even more expensive. Two years ago I had my daughter shoot my ExoMax some because she wanted to use it in bow season. She fired two shots. Her robin hood is proudly displayed in her room. She didn't see much point in any further practice.

I took her to an archery shoot and let her use the ExoMax. She was one of the few archers to hit one of the bonus targets. It was an egg at an unknown distance (33 yards).

The accuracy is amazing.
