Exocet 165
15" power stroke

Exocet 175
15.5" power stroke
With straight risers on both.

Angled riser increased draw weight to 200 pounds for Exocet 200

Elf

I believe the Exocet 165 was 1992-2000

Exocet 175 was 2001-2004.

Exocet 200 is 2005 to present.

Someone please correct me If I'm mistaken on any ages.
As I could be off by a year on them but pretty close I think.

There aren't any serial numbers on Excalibur crossbows.

I believe the 165lb models all had cast risers, and when the switch was made to machined, the poundage jumped up to 175.

The cast risers were on the Exocet 165 and some of the early 175 models for the first year or two they were manufactured then the machined risers were put on the Exocet 175.
The jump from 165 pounds to 175 came with lengthening the rail from 15" on 165 to 15.5" on Exocet 175.

The Exocet 200 still uses the same length rail as Exocet 175 at 15.5" but the forward Or "swept" riser that all the new Excaliburs use increased the draw weight from 175 to 200 pounds.

Have I confused anyone yet??
Hope it makes sense.

thanks for the info, i believe that mine would be the exocet 165 as it was definitely purchased before 2000, closer to 1992, with the assumption that the exocet was not produced before 1992. any idea as to the fps as i'm planning to update from the original drop zone scope to the shadow zone, except that the shadow zone accommodates 250 - 350 fps and i'm not sure my bow fits into this range. any help appreciated.
