Speed ring question

Do any of you have a way to lock down the speed ring in position??? At least where you don't have to worry about it moving and blowing a shot at a deer?? Thanks!!!!

I mark mine with white nail polish so I have a reference point to check.

'Speed ring' is just the power changing ring on a variable power scope. It's not exact as to speed, which depends on arrow and string weight, and I have never had mine move.

Mine is set to the max so i have no worries, but it does not move all that easy to start with.

I've never had mine move on me. Probably not a bad idea to mark a reference point on it though.
