Vixen Brace Height Help

I just got an 01 or 02 vixen; the one with a sticker on the side in red. It only has one brace height mark that is 1 inch from the rail to riser joint. My excel string that came with my 2011 phoenix sets at 1 and 7/8 inches from the rail/riser joint on this bow. I believed i have untwisted it as far as it will go, so I was wondering what I need to do? thanks in advance

I shoot mine 1-1/16 inch from the riser joint an don't think you want to be closer than one inch from the joint just stay above that mark and you should be fine up to an inch above that mark.

Thanks, put on a ff string and problem fixed. Dont know why the excel was coming up short.

Hi John, was it a new excel string. Wheni put a new on a new one with a few twists like they need, it sits above my high brace height until you get a couple dozen shots behind it.

Newbie, No its not new; has a couple hundred shots on it. However, its been unstrung just sitting in my archery box for a month or so.
