Excalibur Crossbow Case needed...

Post by Mark Rainbolt »

I bought the wife the a used Ibex with the aluminum rail for her birthday, i just could not bring myself to buy one with a plastic rail. Well I need a bow case for her new bow. I was wondering if anyone had a extra one they did not need, I do not have a lot of money left after buying her the bow so any help would be appreciated.
God Bless,
Mark

A buddy of mine uses an old Carhartt jacket. He unzips the jacket, lays the bow in it with the limbs in the sleeves of the jacket, and then zips it up in the front. The crossbow is protected pretty well and it only cost him an old jacket that he already had.

I have put a lightweight hooded rain jacket (Frog Toggs) on mine in a downpour. Kept it reasonably dry!
(had the jacket in my ground blind as a backup)

PM sent. I may have one, I'll check. If I do, it's yours. Sorry Mark, I can't find it. I may have gave it away already.

Hey Mark i use a regular, bow case just take limbs off, and everything fits pretty good, It will also hold the quiver, and many accessaries, such as , stringer, rope cocker, sling, extra arrows, and then some, You can pick them up pretty darn cheap. Good Luck !!!!!!!

That is an absolutely great idea.... I tried it and it works great.... how long did it take him to figure that one out?????

BTW... I just bought a new Exomax and a hard case by Piano.... I am sorry I got the hard case... it is just too darn big... I am gonna take it back to BPS and exchange it for... whatever....
ImageMy recommendation would be for a soft case... in fact, I ordered from Amazon... a nice soft case by Excalibur, which I highly recommend... although the jacket thing is a great idea, this is a bit more practical... IMHO
