removing inserts

Can some one tell me how to get out inserts without damageing bolts.

With carbon arrows be sure not to use any more heat than needed or you will damage the shaft .

Put a screw in arrow puller in a vice that fits in the insert, heat the bolt on the puller up for 30-40 seconds, screw the insert on the bolt making sure it's secure in the vice, slowly pull and twist at the same comstant speed until it it out. If you go to fast it will pull out carbon, if the insert doesn't come out at first heat it up more.
