Glue on inserts

Post by mchurch »

I have had a few of my brass inserts come out of my Goldtip laser 3 arrows. I would like to reuse the inserts. What is the best way to get all of the dried superglue off?

If you use the "blue top" Gorilla glue you won't ever have to worry about inserts coming out  TC

Acetone with soften super glue, may take a while soaking them. Being naturally inpatient, I use a wire wheel followed by alcohol flame. Now Use hot melt glue for both nocks and inserts.

Can't find the weight either.
They only fit shafts of an inside diameter of 0.244" to 0.246".

The site says 19 grains Joe. I have read that if you call they have other sizes available now and have not updated the website yet.
