Took my son bear hunting

I decided to take my son bear hunting in August up in Foleyet Ontario since he just got his hunting licence. He didn't have anything come in for the first four days then on the fifth day a small bear came in then after a while it got spooked and ran up a tree while the bear my son harvested came in. My son harvested his bear at 75 yards with a 280 caliber. When he walked up to his harvested bear a 400 plus bear walked in towards the bait and just stood there for a couple of minutes and watched the procedings. Dad also was able to harvest a bear.

nice bears congrats .where they not hitting baits the first days.
did you go up and start baiting or use an out fitter
just wonder i'm taking my 14 year old moose hunting on sept 12th . he wants to shoot a bear with a bow i hope we can get them on a bait fast and move on to moose
