Well, I am still working on the insurance part but we are going forward.
I have a whack of trigger units and latches in my possession and I am processing them to be machined and hardened.
I just bought and received a rotary tumbler to prepare the latches before machining (man they are expensive!).
There is a part that we are having made so we are waiting for samples to be checked out before we order a thousand or so.
There is a whack of money going out and lots of time spent so we are committed to going forward on the trigger but I can't give anyone a timeline yet.
The first bunch of triggers will be going out as a pseudo trial basis. We have not finalized pricing because we don't have all of the facts in yet but these first triggers will go out at a reduced price (don't ask me how much) because although we know the triggers work the way it is intended we want them field tested. So I guess you could say they are going out at a field test price.

Are you going to sell and install the trigger units yourselves or are you going to sell these trigger units to the crossbow manufacturers?
Thank you,
Raymond

Don,
Will one trigger work in all the Excals or will they be made for certain ones?
I would like one after hunting season or have you work on mine whichever is cheaper.

Thanks,
Eric

With the exception of the newer Equinox all trigger units with manual safeties are the same. The Equinox will take the same trigger unit as the others. The difference between the two trigger units for our purposes is just the trigger.
The triggers will be available only on an exchange basis at this point to keep costs down.

As a 3d shooter I will definitely be up for one of these, there will possibly be some British interest in these.
We have some serious 3d shooters here.

A combination of corn cob media and stainless steel rods/pins. (http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=4285 ... ling-Media). Expensive stuff but it gets in all the nooks and crannies to remove rust and stains.

These latches were pretty rusted and crusty. After manually cleaning up imperfections on the serving contact area of the latches they tumbled for 5 hours.

Dumb question please. If I have a new Equinox will it already have the new improved trigger and is there any way to determine this? Thanks
