Muzzy crosskill
I will be heading out on a 2 week elk hunting trips this Saturday , I ordered some bolt cutter broad heads but they won't be here until Monday . I purchased some of muzzy crosskill broadheads from our local sporting store , I was wondering if anyone has tried these broadheads , they are designed for cross bows any info will be appreciated.

Re: Muzzy crosskill
A buddy of mine called me when he saw a guy shoot a Bison in Alaska with an Excalibur and a Muzzy Crosskill....I think it was the 150gr. He said it looked like a pass thru. That sounds encouraging but I have no personal experience with them.
Some MX-3's I bought last year did not have as sharp an edge as I would have expected on the trocar tip, and the tips seemd a bit rough. not sure if it indicates anything with their manufacturing, but I just sharpened them by hand on a flat diamond stone and they are ready to go for tomorrow.
