I do not use shooting sticks, but a fold up saw horse and I added an adjustable 2x4 on top to make it just the right height.

I have this one Vanguard scout B62, and highly recommend it. Do not get a monopod with just one stick they are not steady enough, you need a bipod

lol ya I hear ya, but I have some health issues with my neck and back so to be able to stay any length of time in my blind I need a decent chair, plus my 13yr old daughter is very petite and she can curl right up in hers and take a nap.

I've had pretty good luck with the short shooting stix by Stoney Point. They collapse down to a very small package that fits in your pocket. Work very well. I found out that for best accuracy I have to hold the forearm and yoke together so the bow doesn't jump, which can lead one to spend many hours trying to figure out why the bolts don't hit the center of the bullseye. :-)

I am using the Caldwell Deadshot Fieldpod. Works great and I can use it as a portable bench rest for rifles also.. Amazon has a good deal on them right now.

I like the chair in the Doghouse blind. Do you have a piece of a rug on top of the ground?

No rug Ray, but now that I know Pappa bear has one I might install some wall to wall carpeting just to compete with him.

Now if I am lucky enough to be able to go hunting with my dog house blind I will have to put down some rug. Can't have cold feet now can I, :) , after all it will feel good to walk on, :) .
