good night on the river

Post by Masboy »

was hot today so went out to check the river out and take a evening off from hunting but will go in the morning there,s a cool front coming.got out about 5.30 and went to our bluegill hole and had 25 eating size fish in a little while and moved 50 yds to my flathead hole in 42 feet of water in the old channel and put out our float rigs with the bluegills and had some great fishing. we had three on the floor at the same time and was busy baiting up and pulling in fish.the largest 21 lb and most 5-12 lb . falls coming and the fishings getting better and can,t wait for the water to cool down and get some walleye and big flatheads in the warmwater discharge .we caught 15 flatheads tonight and were back home by 9.00 pm and ready for the morning hunt.all I know hunt and fish!!!!!

25 nice bluegill and 15 big cats! Better call over the friends and cousins for a fish fry so you wont take up any more freezer space at the start of deer season. :)

I haven't been fishing since May, but plan to go next weekend if the weathers good. :)
