Thanks folks! :D I'm happy with him. The shot was a little low, but I still took out both lungs. I estimated the yardage at 20, but it was closer to 25.

Yeah, he's been shredding some trees somewhere. There's all kinds of tree bark and fibers stuck in his bases.

I think I got back up here about 12:30 AM this morning. Got done skinning and deboning and got back in the house around 7 AM. I hate Daylight Savings Time this time of year! :lol:

BIGCAL58 , man congrats on that great story and a nice buck. You have enough meat to get through till you can kill another doe. I just knew when you started this thread we would hear about antlers or Big Foot.

congrats on a very nice deer! You told a great story with the pics included. Do the swhacker broadheads fly close to the field tips? I've been thinking about trying them but haven't seen anything about them good or bad.
