hai all wot type of target do you shoot at with broadheads i sighted in my ibexs with a cardbord box stufed with old carpet and rags my archery target would not stop the fire bolts reason im asking cos iv orderd som boltcutters and x-act just want to experiment as its illeagel to hunt here in the u.k but not to own broadheads but theres nothing stopping me one day to hop on a plane and go to a country that allows hunting with xbow that has been my ambition for a very long time

These are about as good as it gets for broadheads but not for expandable/mechanicals.

I found the Rinehart targets rip up the mechanicals (when extracting) so I used the Block but at 40 yards (not up close). When my Block gets too full of metal or chewed up I'll be using a Black Hole where the broadhead will end up on the other side of the target. I can then unscrew the broadhead and yank the arrow out. The Black Hole will not last long with broadheads but I will only use it with mechanicals and only use it to confirm my POI. I think any softer foam target will do but only at a distance that minimizes penetration.
You will be needing an arrow puller. Danny Miller makes the best ones.

cheers boo looks like il have to put the cardboard box aside wen testing the broadheads il have to ask the shop wer i bought the ibexs see if they can get the target you sugested just wondering are there any other u.k xbow shooters on this forum

I built a covered sand pit thousands of b.h. shots and see no sine of wear :D
Hunt eat sleep repeat.
