but i been hanging in there and it paid off this eve..
around 6:45 i see a doe she is too far and walking straight into my wind..im thinking anywhere but there..but she never smelled me and wondered off..then i see trailing her is a little fawn..just barly could see spots..of course it gave me a great 26 yard shot..but i passed as i should have ..then my brother texed me and said he had a small buck down..7:05 i see movement its a buck.
he walked excatly where the fawn did..i was on him started to bleat him but he stoped for a sec..and i let the slick fly..he ran about 30 yards and stoped..i was thinking ..WHAT? did i miss?..it sounded like a hit..then he just fell over ..
hes no monster but for me ..with a crossbow hes a trophy!!! i love these excals..they get the job done. Oh ..Boo string Munch mount ..Da Grizz Knife..sorry for the not so great pics ..but i was by myself at that point..then mark showed up and we had two to skin...im ready fer bed now er
