Hi Everyone- I wanted to share the pictures of this year's Utah hunt. I was able to take an approximate 300/350 pound bear over bait in Utah as well as a yearling cow with the ever trusty Vixen. I used Slick Tricks on both and the bear dropped in its tracks with a shoulder/spine shot and the elk was a double lung shot with about a 100 yard run out with a good blood trail. This makes 3 elk out of the last 4 years and my first attempt at bear hunting with the Vixen.
As I have said each year, this forum has been so important to me in learning about hunting with the Excalibur crossbow and and helping me be so successful. I also want to thank Danny Miller for his original set up for me and his continued guidance. Utah Hunter- Larry
