Just got mine about 3 days ago, :) been practiceing w/125 grn. f.p.'s and getting 1" groups at 20 yd's, havn't shot the b.h.'s yet but, Dan Miller said they would fly the same as f.p.'s I got the 125 grn. they have a 2 1/4" cutting edge.
Was told ya could tape them shut and shoot them, but i havn't done that yet.

They're BAD broadheads! After seeing what they've done to 2 deer, I don't think I'll be changing anytime soon. I meant to take pictures of the inside of the rib cage of the buck I got to show how wide of a cut it did, but forgot.   2.25" cut doesn't sound real impressive, but when you actually "see" it on the inside of a rib cage, it's rather impressive! I'm really happy with what I've seen out of them! :D

My experience is that they do fly just like field tips (the 125 grain).

I'm one of those guys that is always looking for the next best broadhead I have shot deer with bears razors, Muzzys, Thunderheads , Slicktricks, Rage , Satellite , Del-Mar3 , Razorback 5 , and others, even one with a flint broadhead. They all worked when I did my part, But none of them gave me the blood trail like the ONE I shot with the Swhacker and it flies very good. That being said it was only one deer. But as of right now I'm done looking .

Mine did. Only took a few swipes with a sharpener and it was ready to shoot again.

I have not tryed them yet, but they will be the next BH's i try

I like mechanical Bh and a large cutting surface.

They seem to be stong and tough BH's

Today I killed my first deer with my phoenix, it had 100 gr.
2" shwackers in the quiver.

The shot was 25 yards quartering away the arrow entered behind the ribs, went through the gut, lungs, heart and out the off side shoulder.

I couldn't be happier with the swackers performance, huge
exit hole. Watch the dear turn and run directly back to my tree stand and drop 5 yards from it.

The broad head was completely reusable, really didn't even need to be sharpened but I did anyway.Image

Unreal, the size of the cuts. I may switch over from my X-Acts and Boltcutters at some point in time. But for now, the green backs are scarce so I will makee due with what I have. They are good enough for Bill and Cathy, so they are good enough for me.

From all I've read so far they sound so good that I just ordered a pack of 100gr 2" cut.
Hopefully I can report in with results before season is over.

Here's the exit hole on the buck, just as we found him.

Image

The doe, I had a quartering away shot and hit the big leg bone on the opposite side, so the arrow didn't really "exit". Still a nasty hole though!
