Eventful Opening Day

Promised Myself I Would Only Shoot A Buck in the first weeks of the Season.....man was it hard not draw on opening morning!! I was in my stand by 5:50 am and by 6:30 I already had 3 does inside 30 yards. Will try again tonight......anyone else have any luck today?

Yep...drew on and held on this little guy broadside at 20 yards...then let him walk away. With only one game seal good for a buck in my pocket, I'm going to be a wee bit picky. Scouting camera caught him on his way out.

I have let em walk before. I also ended up with tag soup. Don't be to picky! Hope you see the big one.

When my season opens on the 26 of this month, I have no choice of what to shoot. I am only allowed to shoot a buck. I had my name in the draw for a doe tag and never got one.
