Always felt something was missing.....

Post by newbie »

Until I joined the P.A.D. Club!!!!
Was out tonight for a short practice session in a hurry, and we all know that's when it happen. Cocked bow safety on down onto the shooting bag, lined up shot, pulled trigger and then WTF was that sound? Looked at bow looked ok looked down range through scope, huh only two arrows in target, then hmmm, the third arrow was still in its spot beside me!!!! Well now I was worried as I took S5 off for hunting. String was still on ran my sweater over cocked and un-cocked no splinters. Shot with arrows in :D another half doz shots no poi change nothing! Db bars straight! Can't see a thing wrong, sure glad I own the best in the industry!!!!! Glad joining this club has cheap membership fees

Today must have been a bad day for dry fires. I hate to admit it but count me in as number 3. I had my Vortex apart today polishing my latches and I put it back together and also added a new scope. It was already dark outside so I decided to shoot in the building to check my scope to see how far off it was. I cocked it and shot with my arrows right beside me. Nothing broke, string stayed on and I checked everything after thanking the man above and went to shooting it a half dozen times. No problems that I can tell whatsoever. All I can say is these crossbows are awesome.

I am glad the bow is ok ,but why take the S 5 off I would leave it on it will absorb a lot of energy on a dry fire .
