forgetful = expensive

Post by wabi »

Decided to "fine tune" the Phoenix with the new 2216s and Arizona "Bolt" fletched Blazers today.
I knew the were slightly off from my old 2215s I'd been using.

Shot one at the target to confirm where they were hitting (slightly left) then pulled the arrow, made an adjustment to the scope, and shot another arrow.
Still slightly left, made scope adjustment, pulled arrow, and shot again.
Looked good, put cap back on scope turret and shot again. (forgot to pull arrow from shot #3) :oops:

The target at 25 yards -

I also tried one of the Swhacker broadheads on the same target - same POI as field points!
This evening I'll try one on a deer if I get the chance. :twisted:

Sorry man, couldn't help myself. :wink: Hey, if everyone were perfect, no one would EVER have dry fired their bow. :roll:

Hope you're able to connect with one of the Swhackers! You won't be disappointed! After I went and got my brother to help me track and drag out the 8 pt I got, him seeing the blood trail from what the Swhacker did convinced him to switch. :wink: I remember at one point asking him, "You got blood up there?" He replied, "Dude, it looks like a f**king blood bath up here!!!" :D
