Riding with a crossbow

Post by HammerNAnvil »

Went up into the mountains sheep hunting this week, decided to take my crossbow along, and wore it across my shoulders, rode up to the peak on one mountain (7000 feet) through bush and brush, shale slides etc, had no problem with the crossbow on my back, I was kinda worried I would snag on every tree, now I plan on taking it with me more often when hunting with horses.

Well 7000 feet above sea level, so only 3700 feet I guess, still pretty high though.

I bought a super sling2, 25$ Can adjust the length so you can wear it on your back, shoulder, when im walking I just pull it closed tight to the stock.

Ok thanks. That looks good on your bow . Is that tape or that cloth type wrap?
