I'll say this as nicely as possible, but you're missing the boat by not putting 2" Blazers on w/ 'Bolt' jig..........................

Re: RE FLETCHING BOLTS!
You will see major improvement in broadhead accuracy & arrow flight if you switch to 2in Blazers.

Re: RE FLETCHING BOLTS!
So 2 in. blazer are the way to go?
A couple of question then please.
1) If I went with 2" vanes could i still get the accuracy shooting my fixed blade Boltcutter broad heads from Excalibur? Or would i need to shoot some kind of expandables?
2) Would 2" blazers still need a slight helical?
Really Appreciate the help.

Yes. . .you could still shoot any broadhead and I also suggest helical.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Re: RE FLETCHING BOLTS!
I am looking at buying bolt arms for my EZ Fletch tool.I don't know if they have a helical. I will have to call them. Would you suggest a right or left helical? Thanks

Re: RE FLETCHING BOLTS!
The 2 inch Blazers work great but I've been experimenting with some Bohning Blazer X2's and they are 1.75 inch and they seem to stabilize a Slick Trick Mag out to 50 yards with no problems. Getting great groups with them also. They don't make as much contact to the upper part of the rail. I use an Arizona EZ Fletch with right helical. Good luck with your fletching job.

Re: RE FLETCHING BOLTS!
Great stuff.
Do you have to buy a new "Bolt" tool from EZ Fletch or can you just buy and replace the arms on one I have from years ago when i used to fletch aluminum arrows? Thanks again

The "Bolt" arms are about $15. I got mine at Bass Pro in MI.

Re: RE FLETCHING BOLTS!
The bolt fletching tool is made for fletching bolts with a right helical using 2 in. blazer vanes or other brand vanes of the same size. Yes you can get just the bolt arms if you already own the ez fletch tool. It will only take vanes 2 inch or less.
