new 3 days old Axiom, worn rope guide

This is my 4th crossbow, bought this, because all the others, had limb problems.. i bought this, new. 3days ago, and the guide on the back of the stock is wearing and 'fraying' from the cocking rope.
Paint is almost all gone also, and this is after only 30 pulls of the rope...and only 4 'decocks' with the rope.and, [i am right handed, and that is the side wearing, and i am pulling it evenly] I'm not ready for a 5th crossbow, i'm running out of companies. I have not yet contacted Excalibur, please someone tell me, what's going on here..i have not even sent back, my new Carbon Express covert sls yet,for a stuck safety, that is 3 weeks old.

The guide on my Equinox is all white, no camo or paint
left on it at all

X2 roly, All 3 of the new Excals that I bought this year have the paint on the guide rubbed off. No problem.

Excalibur is the best xbow on the market. Their customer service is second to none. The groove wear that you describe on the camo dipped bow is normal. Post a good picture and let us see if there are other issues.

the plastic is fraying forward. at my rate of cocking, with this amount of wear.i'll be at the metal soon...

maybe not.. i'm getten a 'sorry the board attachment quota has been reached'
looks like a injection pour soft spot.. maybe a air pocket, down under.

Use photobucket fer yer pics here. You may very well have a problem if'en its causin yer cockin rope to fray rapidly. I have cocked mine thousands & still have my rope cockers wid original rope!

too bad, was a good picture. It is a real problem,
i knew paint would wear off.. not the corner of the stock. i'm gonna contact Excalibur, and send them a picture of it.... i did have another ,, issue.. the scope, shot a foot high and to the right at 20 yards on 1st shot. when i adjusted i get random clicks on both the windage and elevation and the adjustment,, 'freewheels'. i was able to dial in. Not sure it will hold true.
the shop where i bought this, said it was normal. i always got my adjustment wheels to click, on all my other scopes. is this,, the 'nature of the beast'.?

i would like to contact this Dan Miller..i'm in michigan, Tustin, near Cadillac.
we're in our deer hunt now, i do have a cracked limb horton, and a boxed up new covert, that is going back., i really don't want to be without a tool to hunt.
i'm handicaped, and been crossbowing for years,,,,,just haven some bad luck right now., i know this axiom is a good bow, i like the simplistic of it.
and if it works out,, i'll upgrade.. thanks guys 4 all your help.
i now need to go bury my kids gut pile, so my lab don't roll in it.
i'll be back again.. duane

Sounds like you have had some pretty bad luck with crossbows. Excalibur has the best warranty in the business they should be able to fix you up. I wouldn't worry about a little paint rubbing off the back of the crossbow this is probably normal and won't effect accuracy. I've shot my Vortex probably 400-500 times and mine hasn't worn off yet but when it does I doubt I'll worry about it.

Put some string wax on the rope.
I have two bows and no wear yet but I don't de-cock with the rope very often.

Same here with my Axiom, I haven't had any trouble with my rope or the x-bow. I think it can re taken care of if you contact Dan Miller but it sure sounds like you are having a lot of problems with the cross bows.
