Have to share this.

Post by agingcrossbower »

I have been shooting twenty yard shots to sight in my excal starting from the breezeway through the first part of the shop through to the second part of my shop and to the target. WELL, every once and a while I setup my tripod and chronograph to check the speed. This is what happens if you walk away and come back and forget to move the tripod. BAM! I could have shot all afternoon and not hit it if I was trying but if not for that ONE TIME.   Sometimes you just got to laugh. Just to be fair the arrow is not exactly dead center.

By the way Boo those KV Hunter arrows hold up nicely.  Sure am glad I was not shooting Big John's arrows. They are just to pretty to do that to.
OH, the tripod is alumium in case inquiring minds needed to know. Field tip is shot. No biggie.
Sort of sad but in my youth I would solo hunt in colorado and put that tripod and a big scope in my backpack and hike al day with it, no biggie. NOW, I set it up in the shop and got to sit down. I hate getting old. Oh, and forgetfull.
