Great deer, great tale of the hunt and great new memories with some great friends. Congrats on your first crossbow deer Monica, he's a beauty. :)

Sure hope so! Thanks!

I have to tell "y'all" that Tim figured out that since the Vixen was run over she's put arrows through 2 deer in 3 hunts! (The first deer was another woman I was hunting with).

Coincidence?????

Don't all run out and be putting your bows under your tires though!

Hmmmmmmmmmm..........................
My year has been really slow so far (only one deer to date), wonder how a Phoenix would look with tire tracks on it?

Now I finally get to hear the whole story, do you know how hard it was to get a text that Vix got a deer and not know the details, I was shaking as I typed back her congratulations I was so happy for her! .... and then my internet screwed up and I couldnt connect until this morning ... what suspense I was in! I had seen a picture but still no story but it was a story worth waiting for and a great shot! :D by the way Big John she is down an arrow  I know the feeling of watching something in front of your blind when you arent, it happened to me with 2 turkeys but at least the deer came your way. Now my vacation is over, I hunted 4 times this week and 8 to date and have not seen a deer yet. I even walked the long way to the woods last night around the entire cornfield since the wind was the blowing the wrong way. The pressure is on me now to keep up with the Excal Gals
