The Ibex is hungry

Post by rt2bowhunter »

I filled my doe tag this afternoon. I saw 3 bucks a spike 4 point and small basket 8.
The this doe gave me a 15yd shot. I'm really starting to like those Ramcats and Accuspine arrows. Something else i'm really liking is the Firenocks. Its nice seeing your arrow from the tree and it really helps seeing where you hit.

Looks like a big doe! Congrats! :D That old broad needed to be taken out of the herd. No telling how many people she busted and blew at.

Yes I bought 100gr then found out 125gr blades will fit. They add just a very little weight. But take the cut from 1 3/8" to 1 1/2" with no change in POI.
Two problems with this head. I had to buy a 6 arrow quiver and replace the arrow gripers with a 4 arrow gripper. And take the rubber liner out of the hood. They are huge. But fly great right with my field points.
And the tips of the blades will bend mostly just sweep back. But even then they are still a huge cutting head. I have taken 3 deer with the same head changed the blades once. And its still in my quiver resharpened waiting in its 3rd deer same blades.
I have been told a Kwikiee Quiver 4 arrow will work with no mods.
These heads put a hurting on deer
