So many new users, obviously recurve Excalibur is best

Post by Chuck AA »

New to the forum but just noting how many new crossbow users by Excalibur, obviously they are much easier to use more accurate and an all round better bow than any compound crossbow.

Some have gotten great advice others had read of great Reviews, still others learned via trail n error by buying a Wheeled crossbow that didn't do well fer them!

Hi Mike, Not sure what following me around the forum means? I am not a complainer or acknowledged expert on anything. Just asking some questions about crossbow hunting. Have many years under my belt with a rifle. Are you just trying to bug me if so thanks. I like to be bugged and a good ribbing does not hurt anyone. Thanks

Hey Chuck! Sorry about the mix-misunderstanding! :D No offense intended at all! I just get too used to joking around with the others here and sometimes my humor gets lost.

By-the-way, welcome to the forum!

They're the best out there I've introduced 4 others to Excals here in N.C. this year after they came and shot my Vortex.

The real secret of these crossbows is the interchangeability of parts from model to model and the ease of field repair. With minimal tools you can restring them, one of the biggest issues with a wheeled bow. IMO.
