Well I went to Deep River Outfitters today to show the owner, and he couldn't believe it lol, but he gave excal a shout and they told him to give me a string free of charge, so he gave my limbs a once over and installed a new string, good service at deep river outfitters I must say.

Hope they put a few correct direction twists in it this time.

You don't need to take it to a dealer, just buy and apply your strings..........

Oopps, almost forgot, Welcome to the forum!

These stories always seem to have a happy ending ;) Glad to hear you're back in business. +1 to those who say get a stringing aid, it's probably the best purchase I've made outside of my Ibex. They sure do come in handy and extra strings are always a plus! Keeps you out in the field longer! Hey, you can change that string in a tree stand, how many other bows do you know that you can do that with?

I read ( 9 ) do I get prize.

Give this test a try for little fun

I answered 10 right

Ditto on the Stringing Aid and extra string.
But until you are sure of the cause and gain a little more experience with the beast I would suggest the back up string not be the faster Flemish type.
I like Deep River Outfitters also a little pricey on some things but well stocked with good all around selection. (I refer to it as the Best One Stop Shop in Eastern Ontario when it comes to Hunting and Fishing)

When it comes to extras for my Excalibur I found CTC to have the best prices however.
