Last Day Deer Huntin

I decided this would be my last day to hunt deer this yr. I saw 2 Bucks this mornin & 14 Doe's n fawns about 30 min's later. None came close enuff fer shot. Winds swirlin so bad blew my scent right to them. They jus eased on south of me. So i ended up seein mid 50's in deer. Killed 5 & let over 20 walk. I had a wonderful Season & lookin fer a better one this comin yr!

mike the package arrived yesterday .thanks a lot i will get them fletched .are they excalibur arrows .hope you have a merry christmas and happy new year. im still trying to fill a last tag. ive shot 3 deer so far with 3 new bows and i'm taking the daughters pink vixen every time out too try to make 4 deer with 4 bows in one season. we dont eat a lot of deer here in our house but everyone i know knows im a hunter so share with freinds and family.i just love being in the bush. i did take some to a local amish fellow and he made me some smoked summer sausage thats to die for. thanks again and let me know if i can ever be any help terry

I've already thrown in the towel this year.
The deer population really seem to be down in my area (EHD?).
Decided to let the few remaining does survive & bear next year's crop.

I will probably hunt the January muzzleloader season, but I don't have high hopes of filling my tag.

Thx fer the replys, munch they were Firebolts best i remember. This next yrs season i will hold to my 6 pts n better on Bucks durin all archery seasons. My friend Tom from Pa. says he is comin down to hunt the Firearms this time. He is bringing his 25-20 fer me to kill a Buck wid. Told him i sure can do it fer real. Plus my nephew has invited me to come Home & hunt in Dec. next yr so thats 1st 10 days there. Will be huntin south of I-20 off the Big Black River back up in them swamps like i used too. Killed a few hundred Tick Toters when i lived there fer many yrs ago!
