Which Chronograph?

I lent it out a few years ago! Haven't seen it since.

I thought you had fallen into one of the two groups of chronograph users, those who have shot their chronograph and those who soon will.

The only thing worse than dry-firing your bow is shooting your own chrongraph, getting it repaired, shooting it again, then getting it repaired, then shooting it again. I got smart and repaired it one last time and put it away
For some reason that red box really attracts my attention

Nah, what's worse is lending it out and getting it back shot with no intention of repairing or replacing it!

So the paintball chrono and the arrow chrono is basically the same thing????

Ya, the chrono's just measure or make calculations with no awareness of what the objects are. Good marketing stratagagies lead us to believe otherwise, though. Unfortunately importing goods is where the difference in prices become over inflated we have to shop online, sad this is such an over site and retailers suffer.

Have aShooting chrony and a Pro Chrony both work well . The Red shooting chrony does seem to attract flying objects . My Nephew arrowed mine ----- did not ask to borrow it , put it back shot up cause Uncle said he would kick his __ __ __ and was very nervous about telling me . Imagine my surprise
when I found a hole thru the front of it that is the same diameter as a GoldTip XT 55 / 75 .

I bought the ProChrono a few years ago and it is very accurate and is still in one piece.

I just bought a Shooting Chrony Beta today. Brought it home and tried it with the pellet gun. I spent a good two hours trying to get a reading...nothing.

So, I'm going to say stay away from the chrony. I put an old 9 volt battery in it and I think that may be the problem as the instructions say to use a alkaline battery or the unit may not work.

Maybe some one can advise me on this chrony and why it's not working. Sorry to highjack the thread.

Is it the Chrony name brand? If so it could also be a lighting issue, we had trouble with paintballs being read too. You may need to defuse the light above with paper while outdoors and incandescent lighting is needed for indoor use.

See the youtube link posted by Boo, it shows the defuser over the chrono.

Make sure you set it up outside or under incandescent lights.
Won't work under fluorescent lights.
The directions are pretty straight forward.
