Boredom setting in

Post by kd8jgu »

For 30 days I have been in a house with 3 women.
I hunt 4 -6 hrs about every other day.
The rest of the time I sit on this computer.
Today they figure I must be getting bored so here are there ideas
1. teach me how to crochett
2. teach me how to knit
3. I can do the laundry
4. I can do the cooking
5. I can do the sweeping and mopping
Ok
I went online and made a list I am buying 2 crossbows in a package deal new one for me and a new one for wife.
I am ordering one of munchs string jigs
made a list of what materials I need to start.
they decided to go thru list and change some string colors for her bow.
I still have the problem of them still wanting me to do one off of there list a day until everything shows up.

Guys please help me
May my aim be true and my arrow fly straight

Go with the cooking for the first task. Use every dish possible making a complete mess of the spam and if possible some nice heavy smoke (no flames though) and Im sure she will say get out go hunting and use the computer just dont move, dont do anything, dont touch anything and toss the list in the garbage.

Do some scouting, try to get some permissions for Coyote hunting, watch some hunting on UTube and don't do the above again.
BTW, I have 2 daughters (one now married and out of the house) and 3 female dogs. I know you have to get outdoors! Too much estrogen is bad for the health! I think it causes warts in the brain.

Sounds like you need me to ship these bows to you overnight express. That would save you a few days of crocheting. Just let me know before Monday :D . Or maybe if you are good enough at it you could make me some camo mittens or a new bow case for the Matrix.

The year after I retired (2009 ??) I hunted like that, nearly burned myself out! :( :(

Now my nieghbor goes in his basement and hides which he calls his MAN CAVE. I would make yourself a shop and start puttering. Makes dust and wood chips, sawdust and man debris. Its great! :D

Yea, a nice outside project like aging said. You could fix up an old boat, build a utility trailor, anything. Also, either burn or undercook the food or make it too spicy like Wabi said. Leave food particles on the dishes when you wash them. In other words do a terrible job on all the girly projects. :)

I used to shoot in the house downstairs but now wife is retired I can't. Moved to upstairs and have a 16 yard range. I have a Barnett 60lb Phantom Jr recurve crossbow with a good red dot scope on it and I play darts with it. Have a target bag and built a steel wall behind it. Have one of the rubber mat dart board mounted on a foam board and hang it infront of my bag. Alot of fun and takes up alot of time. Plan to get an Apex for darts in time when I can afford it. My range keeps me out of the wifes hair. Also have a 30 yard range in back yard. I try to get in the spam my wife always says, "why don't you go hunting or something" You think I have a problem? I figure as long as the wife is happy, so am I. LOL

Perfect!! And fake a hand injury while preparing the meal. That will get you out of the knitting and crocheting. It will heal up right around the time your new bows and string making stuff arrives.
