Tac Pac - Any have/use this?

My left shoulder is messed up and holding the front grip with a palm-up hold hurts. I have been using my left index and middle finger to pull back on the front edge of the front grip, (allows me to keep my left elbow up more).

Saw this Tac Pac accessory and how you can add a vertical, front grip. I was thinking this might help me out with my shoulder issue.

Anyone else use this piece of equipment? Pro's ... Con's ?

I used the grip on mine for a short while, but in my opinion it is mounted too far forward (just a personal thing)...
The only valid complaint I have with the supplied grip, is that it does not lock solid when folded down. There is about a 1/4" of play in mine, which makes it feel like a cheap plastic knockoff... (Check Midwayusa if you're looking for a rock-solid forward grip)
I did however keep the pic-rail attached, which to me is worth the money in and of itself.

Hmm I wish they would sell the rail with the bipod as well, I don't want to buy the tac pack just to get the rail and then buy the bypod as well

I have a bad shoulder and the Tac Pac and love it. Never even shot the bow without the Tac Pac installed. Get it you will like it. You can pull the bow into your shoulder which I feel helps you aim and hold steady. Tac Pac flips in towards riser out of the way to make cocking the bow easy. Would not want to shot the bow without it!

I have had a tac PAC on my Nox for a while . They make bow seem easier to hold but add weight to the front which made me need to use a rest. I ended up taking mine off and now use a Caldwell fieldpod out of a blind

I have one on my Equinox. I fold it back toward the trigger and use it to help me with consistent hand placement.

Mchurch ... It sounds like folding the hand grip back towards the trigger gives you an angled forehand grip.

I use the grip from a hammer drill screwed into the underside of the front of the stock. Instant free foregrip. Definitely steady and more comfortable (and keeps my fingers away from the rail).

I NEVER WOULD OF THOUGHT OF THAT ... BRILLIANT !!!

Time to raid my buddy's tool shed. Or, a trip to Sears.

Did it work with the hole all ready in the stock ?

Does it hit your shin when your cocking the crossbow ?

Yup, I used the bottom hole that the quiver mount uses, just bought a longer screw. My foot fits in the stirrup and the foregrip tucks up against my shin. Not a problem. I've seen the pics of people's thumbs that get mangled from the string hitting it if you're not careful. No thanks! This keeps my hand clear and is more comfortable and steadier. I had to trim the base of the drill handle a bit to fit, but it looks fine, you wouldn't know it doesn't belong.
