Spinning Bolt

Post by emptyfreezer »

Happy New Year everyone!
I was cleaning my Axiom today and tightening bolts when I found the bolt behind the trigger on the underside of the stock is spinning freely. Gorilla Glue in the hole? Wooden match stick? What do you think?
Thanks!

Or if you can get to the other side of the bolt, add a nut, but I would contact Excalibur first, as mentioned.

I emailed them regarding a broken scope ring over two months ago... Still waiting for the replacement. :?

I would suggest calling them... Might get ya fixed up a bit quicker.

I ran into that once, it is a simple fix. Drill and re tap the mainframe/stock mount hole one size larger and pick up a new bolt at the hardware store.

With the SMF rail you may need to be very cautious how much torque you put on those as well.
