Aluminum arrow cock vane placement

on aluminum arrows there,s a seam that runs the lenth of the arrow an that,s where I always place my cock vane.on the new digital camo slams they have two seams a brite one a dark one that I did not see an been fletching the cock vane on the bright one that I now think is just where the camo pattern meets. after testing my slams the other day and having them all shoot there best groups with all the same vane the one too the right of my cock vane on the brite line. I thought that,s odd and got too checking an sure enough the small line I always use was right on or close too the vane that they all shot there best groups with.works for me on that fine little seam.
