Scope for a Phoenix ?
Have had my Phoenix now for about 1.5 months, with just the single fiber optic & peep. Time for a scope I'm feeling is now.Any input/ 2 new Exc.Scopes new since I got the bow,the Tact Zone& Twighlight DLX. Any advice for the best scope for hunting between them or Shadow Zone, or anything else for that matter.Looking for advice.

Thanks for reply- Reading about the 2 newer scopes and the better light they have with low light conditions.Do you hunt with your scopes?maine hunter wrote:welcome, i have the shadow zone scope, works great. the wife has the vari-zone scope, she is a tack driver with it. best thing to do is go to store and look at what looks good to you. i think calbelas has excals now.

I use a Leupold 3-7X shotgun scope.
After having 3 or 4 "crossbow" scopes (not all Excalibur) fail over a few years I went with the Leupold and it's still working fine!

Does your shotgun scope have illuminated crosshairs ?wabi wrote:I use a Leupold 3-7X shotgun scope.

Speaking of low buckage, check out the deal on that brand new Tact zone in the classified section. The guy that is selling it is nuts

If I was in need of a scope I would go with a shadow zone or the new Tact Zone in the trading post section!

Leupold scopes are hard to beat for the money they hold up great and have great customer service just like Excalibur.wabi wrote:I use a Leupold 3-7X shotgun scope.

Here is the Nikon BoltXr on my Equinox.

I just wish that the scope mount rail had equal spaced notches so you would have more adjustment for the scope rings. Notice the absence of a notch behind the front ring.
