Please help identify an Exocet

Post by Sergeon »

I recently traded an atv for an Exocet but can't identify if it's a 175 or what ?
This model has the brown synth stock and brown limbs with mag tips.
It also has the Max Zone scope.

I tore it down for inspection and cleaning but do not recall seeing any other numbers to help date and identify the poundage ?

What should I be looking for ?

Never heard of a brown Exocet.
Brown Vixen and Brown Bear 225.
Could be someone switched parts with one of those models.

If it is a brown factory original Exocet, then it is a 175 lbs version, which was manufactured circa 2003. Of course, it might be that someone could have mixed and matched parts, in which case only God knows what it is.

I'm going to agree with you Larry. I wonder why the stock and limbs were replaced?

The bow may be original.
It may be a retailer exclusive. Large retailers do this all the time and may be a regional item.

Perhaps Doemaster could chime in. I'm certain he once told me there were brown Exocets made at one time.
