matrix 380 has just arrived a few hours ago, tommorow i will get some blue loctite and start putting it all together, just had a very quick look at the steel heads that screw onto the carbon fibre shafts and i have noticed that they do not screw smoothly and freely on to the shaft like i saw on bills assembly instructions I dont want to force them and end up cutting a new thread on ali tip unless thats the way its designed , The other thing i was expecting to see red vanes but mine has arrived in white.

Wise move. My Matrix had (2) screws that were buggered. One was on the scope ring mount and the second was on one of the trigger block mount screws. Both had the first thread (apparently from rolled-thread process) screwed-up. The mount was replaced and the block screw and the trigger block were fixed with a tap and die. Several ins-and-outs with these buggered screws will ruin the tapped hole and strip it out. I don't know for the life of me why an assembler could not tell if a screw was defective and just NOT USE IT!
