midway usa

Post by xbowkidd »

anyone have any experience with midway usa? i have been trying to purchase a few things and i really wanted to shop local, but after two weeks of every shop telling me it would be three months till they would have product i decided to look elsewhere. midway was the first place that had everything i wanted in one shot. They don't ship to Canada so i think i will try shipping to bay brokerage in port huron.

FWIW, I've had good luck with Midway. Provided the items are in stock, they usually ship quick.

Go through their service and pick up on Canadian side of the border.
I'm sure there are others.

Midway has always got my order correct and shipped on time. I always use services found on the US side of the US/Can border to accept my packages and pick them up myself. The UPS Store charges about $5.00 to recieve a package for you. They send you an email when your package arrives it arrives.

I have not tried this yet.
So far I have not bought anything off of ebay that required such a service.

I've ordered quite a bit of stuff from Midway, mainly gunsmithing stuff. Every time, they ship quick and the order is correct. More than I can say for some other companies.

The great thing about Midway is that they've got one-off stuff of a lot of weird things that you may be looking for. Last fall, I had to retap a scope mount hole in a barrel. My brother is a gunsmith, so I called him to find out what the threads were. Tried to find the tap all over the place around here, but no one had them. Checked Midway and they had 4 different styles of the correct thread.
